Our Package Shipment service enables Sierra Leoneans in Canada and western United States to send personal-effects (household items and packages) to Sierra Leone. The Package Shipment service is as convenient and as quick as our Money Transfer service.

Have you being wondering how to send home those goods you have tucked in storage? Well, wonder no more, our Package Shipment service is here to do just that. Simply put your personal-effects into a barrel and put a label on the barrel bearing the following information; your name and address, the name and address of recipient in Sierra Leone and a price list of all the items in the barrel. If you don’t know offhand the price of a good that has being taking up storage space in your garage, go to the nearby thrift store and inquire about its price. We also accept bulky items like cars, trucks and machines that do not fit nicely into a barrel.

However, even before you have all your items neatly packed up and ready to be shipped, you should reserve a space on our container. The first step in making a reservation on our container is by requesting a quote for the package you want to ship. Go to the Get Quote page to obtain a quote for your package type. If you are satisfied with our dynamically generated quote, you may continue to make a reservation from the Get Quote page. Our container fills up pretty fast, so hurry up and make your reservation today! When we have a half full container load, we will announce our next container shipment date. So make your reservation today and don’t be left out.

It is as easy as 1 2 3!

First go to the Log In page by clicking on the Log In link at the top of the page. To setup a new account, click on the Create new account tab on the Log In page or enter your username and password to login to your existing account. Please note that only account holders are allowed to perform a transaction on this site. However, we do take orders on the phone as well. Click here to login or create new account.

Step 1 : Once logged in, click on Get Quote link to find out our Package Shipment service fee. Specify the package you wish to ship by selecting from the Package Type drop-down menu. After you have specified the type of package you wish to ship, click on Get Quote button to obtain a quote for your selected package. A quote will be presented to you at the top of the page and you will be directed to the Ship Package page where you can make your reservation.

Fill out and submit the form that will be presented to you on the Ship Package page and look at a summary of the submitted information by clicking on Your Shipments link. Your shipment will be assigned an 8-digit security PIN which you will need in Step 2.

Step 2 : Using INTERAC Email Money Transfer available on the web sites of most financial institutions; your personal bank included, make a payment equivalent to the Package Shipment service fee obtained in Step 1 above to money@weyoneplace.com. Use the 8-digit security PIN as specified on Your Shipments page as the security code during the INTERAC Email Money Transfer process.

Step 3 : Sit back and relax, no need to contact us. Now, how convenient is that? Upon receipt of your electronic payment, we will send you an electronic receipt including the mailing address of our storage facility; where your package will be kept before being shipped out to Sierra Leone. When the Container arrives in Freetown, we will advice the recipient whose details you provided in Step 1 above about pickup location and time. You can check the status of your transaction 24/7 by going to Your Shipments page.

The status of your shipment on Your Shipments page will change from Pending to Approved when we receive and process your electronic payment. When the container is shipped out to Sierra Leone, the status of you transaction will change from Approved to In Transit and subsequently to Received when the recipient receives your package.
